My brain had been sufficiently numbed by the marathon training session today. In a few hours time, I've been hurried through just one of the many 'modules' included in the ginormous software package provided by my employer.
It's more than likely that I will remember almost none of the force-fed information, as there was absolutely no 'hands-on' involvement.
My eyes glazed over around 2:00pm signaling that the words being spoken by my trainer were registering as little more than a low buzzing sound in my head.
Hopefully, reading through the 350+ pages of the module guide will reinforce at least some of the information, as I will be required to regurgitate the data when I am tested on the module.

I remember starting new jobs and not understanding the computers, and that was back in the day when they'd only just replaced typewriters. . .

Oh--won't payday be lovely!
I'm one of those 'lemme do it while you talk it' kinda people.
And I'm not so good with 350 pages unless they come with pictures!
And then I mostly use 'em for colouring.
OH...you need pretty coloured pencils! And cool sticky notes! Ones with penguins--or llamas! :-)
